Early Childhood Education

Legal Secretary
This program prepares the student for an entry-level position as a legal secretary.  Legal secretaries are responsible for managing client files; organizing records; documenting and scheduling litigation dates; and coordinating court appearances.  Graduates may work in law firms, government agencies, corporate legal departments, and other businesses.  The emphasis of the program is placed on legal ethics; legal terminology; and generating basic legal documents by using a computer to assess various Internet sites and use various legal software programs.

PC Technician
This program prepares the student for an entry-level position as a Personal Computer Technician in an Information Technology (I.T.) department of a company or corporation.  The student will be able to identify, test, analyze, and repair troubled hardware areas of a personal computer, troubleshoot software on a PC, which uses Microsoft 98/00/ME/XP operating systems, and will have a basic understanding of network topologies including basic network components and network installation procedures.  They will have the understanding and knowledge to prepare and pass A+ Core and OS certification examinations.
